Entries on the day can now be accepted, however, it is much easier to administer advance entries so all riders are encouraged to register and pay electronically before each event using the link in the events page HERE. If the event doesn’t fill up then on the day entries will be allowed. If you cannot ride for any reason your entry can be refunded or carried over to the following week.

Numbers will be available from the back of a car or somewhere at the HQ, don’t worry, it will be obvious. You should bring your own method of attaching numbers. Pins may NOT be supplied.
There might not be marshals on the course, just signs, so you MUST know the course and you MUST ride with caution and obey the Highway Code AT ALL times.
There might not be a pusher off so start with your foot on the ground. Starting too early will result in time penalties!
Please line up for your start as close to your start time as possible and avoid queuing at the start area as much as possible. Add your number to 6:30pm to get your start time so 1 goes at 6:31pm, 6 at 6:36pm, 12 at 6:42pm etc… 30 sec starts are a bit more complicated so check with the starter! 1 goes at 6:31:00s, 2 at 6:31:30s, 3 at 6:32:00s, 4 at 6:32:30s etc…

Under 18’s MUST send a photograph of their parental consent form BEFORE starting. Consent form available HERE
Entry fee this season is £5 except juniors/juveniles who go free
All races start at 6:31pm with signing on between 6pm and 6:30pm
Riders will start at 1minute intervals except the first two events which are 30 second intervals
Riders details including email address and phone numbers will be held for a period of 21 days and then destroyed.
A working front and rear light and helmets are MANDATORY for ALL events. This is now a CTT regulation so it WILL be enforced.
The riding competitive position shall be set so that vision is not compromised such that the rider cannot react safely to events that can reasonably be expected to occur during the event in question. Riding with the head facing downwards and occasionally glancing forward is deemed an infringement of this regulation.
A hard shell helmet that meets internationally accepted safety standards is MANDATORY for ALL events.
When Signing On

If you are NOT a member of a CTT registered club you will need to register as a day member. Please remember to print ‘Day Member’ as your club and NOT the promoting club.

Over 18’s are split into an Open category indicating any gender or the Female category indicating only female. Enter the category you are most comfortable with identifying as. If there are disputes with entered categories these will be passed to CTT for arbitration and are not the responsibility of the organiser or the IDCA.
Open Senior ‘OS’,
Open Veteran if aged 40 and over plus age band:- OV40, OV50, OV60,
Female please enter L, followed by the age band LS,LV, LV40,LV50, LV60 etc as above
Age categories are based on the age you are on the FIRST race of the season year so if you are 50 on or before the first race you will be an OV50 for the season. If in doubt, ask.
Age bands DO NOT change during the season.
A Warning note for riders:
The rules of the road MUST be obeyed at ALL times. The CTT Board have recently highlighted that this includes all road speed limits. “There will therefore be an overriding principle that all riders in time trials must adhere to posted speed limits as well as all other rules of the road”
No crossing of the centre white line and give way to traffic at junctions. Observers will be posted around the course
Any riders caught breaking these rules will be disqualified- you have been warned.

U-Turns will not be permitted on the course or on roads adjacent to the start and finish areas whilst the race is in progress.
Note-Any breaking of this Regulation in the first case may mean disqualification from the event. Further cases will be referred to the District Committee.
Definition: A U-Turn is defined as a 180 degree turn completed within the highway whilst astride the bicycle, it is recommended that riders dismount , check the road is clear and then walk across the road
Warming Up. No warming up along the course by competitors once the event has started
Paced & Company Riding
Competitors must ride entirely alone and unassisted and not ride in company or take shelter (commonly known as drafting) from other riders or vehicles. A competitor overtaking another must pass without receiving or giving shelter. The onus of avoiding company riding shall be upon the rider overtaken.
22. Use of Motor Vehicles
(a) A competitor shall not be preceded, accompanied, followed by or in anyway receive assistance from a motorised
